Important Details
Already connected to a young person and want to take our training? Reach out! We would love to have you.
We expect people to make their best effort to attend all 8 sessions, but we understand life happens. If you miss one or two that is okay!
These sessions are meant to be highly engaging with lots of discussion and real stories being shared. Please come ready to actively participate and have your camera on as much as possible.
Homework will need to be completed prior to each session. Homework will take approximately 30 – 40 minutes to complete and provides the groundwork for discussion and learning in each session. It is often a video, audio clip or fun quiz!
Privacy is key! We will ask you to find a private, quiet place to attend from. Use headphones if others will be in your space to protect what is being shared by facilitators and fellow attendees. While concepts and ideas can be shared, please do not share personal stories or identifying information without express permission.
Onboarding calls help the team to prepare the training and learn a little bit about you. They are a required part of the process and will happen between Orientation and the beginning of training.
If you are not sure if the Human journey is for you, you can still register. Important life decisions require lots of info. You are not obligated to continue the process after training is compete. Many people find the training to be beneficial to their general understanding of trauma and relationships!
Completing the training does not guarantee that a connection will be made (please note we do not “match” families or use this language).
